This App is Ok but isnt integrated with compass so you have to figure out which way you are facing to find what peaks you are looking at. Also, the "height" perspective adjustment does not seem to be accurate.

This app doesnt seem to work at all for me. Ive done all the troubleshooting and to no avail. It doesnt show me where I am. It doesnt open the viewfinder. It certainly doesnt tell me the peaks. I have found it to be a complete waste. And Im sorry that it is because I love the concept. I purchased it on a 14er-summit trip so my son could see the peak names. We ended up using a paper map instead. And educated guesses.

Love this app! Not much graphics but you can really tell which peaks are which!

Works great up here in northwest Washington. The mountains that are on Vancouver Island, British Columbia are listed as being in California though. The names are correct, the "state" isnt.

Havent yet had the chance to test this in many places, but have used it quite a bit in NW Oregon - Portland west to Cannon Beach, north to Astoria. Very accurate and *finally* now know the names of some smaller peaks weve wondered about for years. Very accurate and easy to use. We have been wanting an app like this for a long time

This app does not work. The only time it found a mountain I was pointing at, I had to input the name of the mountain. I wish I could get my money back. Worst app I have ever gotten. One star was the lowest it would let me rate it.

Has worked great Am avid hiker and have used in the Rockies..has worked fine.. Wish it had the elevations as well

Seems to work well, I hike a lot so its very helpful.

I have not had a good experience with this app. The names of the peaks do not appear on screen. It crashes when scrolling thru the peak database.

Great app to have on the go!

Cant wait to try it out on a hike near the Flatirons.

I really wanted this app to work. I have looked for some sort of instructions, but cant find any. I think Ive tried everything in the app to get it to work but it always thinks I am in the same location no matter where I am. Great idea, it just doesnt work on my iPhone 4S.

Im an old rock hound who first used this app on a road trip that started along the Colorado front range, and then drove west to the Pacific coast in Southern California. Ive made this trip before and wished I knew the names and elevations of the peaks along the way. I used Peak finder throughout my last trip and it never let me down. I was always able to identify peaks of interest. I love how you can just tap on the peak name to see its elevation. Its also great how you can "fly" to different locations (viewpoints) and view peak panoramas that are 100s of miles away. Finally i like how you can use Google maps to change the viewpoint. Now Im back home and although i know the names of over 100 peaks in my area that ive climbed Peak Finder has opened a whole new world of awareness in my own backyard (also useful when skiing in different areas). Very nice piece of software, thanks for building such a wondeful app!

I used this last weekend going from the San Francisco Bay Area thru the Sierra across Nevada and on to Salt Lake. This apps fabulous, lived having such details data on where I was at all times. Thanks

If youre like me and always want to know the names of the mountains you are looking at - even the smaller ones - then this is a must have.

This is a great app would highly recommend to the curious of whats around them. One thing I would like to see is an azimuth reading along with a the cardinal point of the compass.

I live in seattle and use this app all the time in the city as well as when in in the mountains. Wish there were satellite views or some pictures rather than just drawings, but love everything else about this app.
