Im an old rock hound who first used this app on a road trip that started along the Colorado front range, and then drove west to the Pacific coast in Southern California. Ive made this trip before and wished I knew the names and elevations of the peaks along the way.
I used Peak finder throughout my last trip and it never let me down. I was always able to identify peaks of interest. I love how you can just tap on the peak name to see its elevation.
Its also great how you can "fly" to different locations (viewpoints) and view peak panoramas that are 100s of miles away.
Finally i like how you can use Google maps to change the viewpoint.
Now Im back home and although i know the names of over 100 peaks in my area that ive climbed Peak Finder has opened a whole new world of awareness in my own backyard (also useful when skiing in different areas).
Very nice piece of software, thanks for building such a wondeful app!
